Actually I vaguely remember something about an English patch for WE as well. It's possible, but you'd have to have some skills with code and scripts, and be able to translate Jap to Eng. I'd imagine in a game like WE, there's not much to translate other than menu items and some commentary.

I doubt they bothered translating commentary, probably just menu items. That's a whole different ball game from a plot oriented game like FFXII. Imagine the amount of translation from the average RPG. That's a ton of work.
